The selection subjects of this study took into consideration, namely: (1) two students made more mistakes than other students, (2) had different mistakes, (3) mistakes could represent mistakes made by other students, (4) students could communicate well, and (5) recommendations from mathematics teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Banawa. The data collection techniques used are assignments and interviews. The analysis in this study used the Newman stage. The results of this study show several errors experienced by students in solving number pattern problems, namely: (1) Transformation error, namely students are wrong in determining the formula in and do not know the formula to be used in solving the problem, (2) Process ability error, namely students do not change Un to U12 and Un to U15, and students are wrong in performing calculation operations, (3) Error writing the final answer, namely students do not know and do not write the final conclusion.
2024-09-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authorhttps://jurnalfkipuntad.com/index.php/jpmt/article/view/3795PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA YANG DIAJAR DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN LURING DANPEMBELAJARAN DARING DI SMP NEGERI 1 PALU2024-11-15T15:52:07+00:00Risma Wati Putrirismawp11@gmail.comMuh. The research method used in this study is the comparative method. The population in this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Palu with a total of 352 students. The research sample was grade VII students who carried out offline and online learning, with different samples but had the same level of academic ability. The sampling technique in this study was Purposive Sampling. The researcher took 32 class A students and 32 class B students, so the number of samples taken was 64 people. The data collection technique in this study was by taking mid-semester test scores on the material Linear Equations and Inequalities of One Variable in the 2021/2022 Academic Year obtained by students during online learning and mid-semester test scores on Linear Equations and Inequalities of One Variable in the 2022/2023 Academic Year obtained by students during offline learning. On condition that the material taught is equivalent during offline and online learning and students have the same level of academic ability. The collected data is then processed using t-test statistical analysis. Based on the data analysis obtained: (1). The results of learning mathematics during online learning obtained an average value of 71.94; (2). The results of learning mathematics during offline learning obtained an average value of 58.56; (3). Sig. value. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So the results of the study show that there is a difference in the results of learning mathematics of students taught with offline learning and online learning.
2024-09-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authorhttps://jurnalfkipuntad.com/index.php/jpmt/article/view/3796KAJIAN PENGGUNAAN MATEMATIKA PADA AKTIVITAS TUKANG KAYU DAN TUKANG BATU DALAM PROSES PEMBANGUNAN RUMAH2024-11-15T15:58:13+00:00Mohamad Ruslan Lainawammohruslan@gmail.comMuh. The subjects of this research were two builders who were carrying out construction in the village of Tokala Atas. The two craftsmen chosen as research subjects consisted of a masons and a carpenter. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive type of research carried out in the village of Tokala Atas. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Observations were made while the builders were building the house. Interview techniques were used to explore the data that had been obtained when the observations were made. The results of the research show that carpenters and masons use mathematical concepts in building houses, namely the Pythagorean concept when forming foundation angles and measuring the sloping sides of roofs. The concept of alignment when measuring foundation bow plank strings, measuring brick laying benchmark strings and measuring frame heights. The concept of comparison is used when measuring into the foundation and when determining the distance between floor girders. The concept of flat construction is used when making sloping reinforcement frames, making piles and forming wooden joints. The concept of perpendicular lines is used when adjusting the straightness of poles, sills and roof posts. Arithmetic concepts are used when calculating zinc and teal requirements. The mathematical concepts contained in house buildings made by carpenters are roof shape: roof shape, rice wrapper and wall shape: betel stacking shape, plate stacking and lengthwise.
2024-09-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Authorhttps://jurnalfkipuntad.com/index.php/jpmt/article/view/3797PROFIL PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA KELAS VIII G SMP NEGERI 3 PALU PADA MATERI STATISTIKA DITINJAU DARI JENIS KELAMIN2024-11-15T16:03:47+00:00Rini AnandaRiannd65@gmail.comGandung Sugitagandungplw@gmail.comAnggrainianggiplw67@gmail.comAlfisyahraalfisyahra27@gmail.com
This research aims to obtain a description or portrayal of the conceptual understanding of 8th-grade students in class G at SMP Negeri 3 Palu in solving statistics problems, with a focus on gender differences. Data were collected through written tests and interviews. The results of this research indicate that male students have a better conceptual understanding compared to female students based on conceptual understanding indicators. Male students can fulfill four out of five indicators, while female students fulfill three out of five conceptual understanding indicators. Both male and female students can articulate the concepts of mean, median, and mode in their own words. They can present data in table form with the correct arrangement.
