Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The JKO (Jurnal Kreatif Online) Author Guidelines do not tolerate any form of plagiarism or duplicate submissions. Therefore, JKO strongly recommends that authors thoroughly review manuscript content before submitting it for publication. The editorial office will screen all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism before publishing them online. If plagiarism is detected by the editor, peer reviewers, or editorial staff at any stage of the publication process, the manuscript may be rejected based on the plagiarism percentage, and the author will be notified.
 
Plagiarism screening will be conducted by the Jurnal Kreatif Online Editorial Board using the TURNITIN plagiarism checker and the use of AI text analysis using GPTZero. Articles will be accepted if the similarity index is less than or equal to 20%.
 
Please consider the following before submitting your manuscript:
 
Format Requirements: Ensure the submitted research paper adheres to the manuscript template. Include a section outlining the contents of your paper. See our manuscript template.
 
Ethical Considerations: Follow general research and writing ethics. Disclose any potential conflicts of interest. To this end, authors must complete an Author Statement, which can be submitted as a supplementary file with the manuscript.
 
Originality and Copyright: Submitted papers must be original, and authors must confirm that they have the right to submit the content. Plagiarism, data manipulation, or any form of research misconduct is strictly prohibited. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish and distribute the paper.
 
Language: Submissions must be written in clear, standard Indonesian.
 
Peer Review Process: Submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process. Authors may be asked to respond to reviewers' feedback. The decision to accept or reject will be communicated promptly.
 
Authorship and Acknowledgments: List all authors and their contributions. List funding sources and individuals who contributed but do not meet the authorship criteria.
 
Post-Publication Corrections: If errors are discovered after publication, authors may request corrections. Corrections will be assessed for significance and accuracy before implementation.
 
Publication and Open Access: Accepted papers will be published on our platform. Authors should be aware of the journal's open access policy.
 
Additional Note: Submissions that do not follow the manuscript template will be rejected.
 
Common Reasons for Rejection
 
Manuscript Content:
  • Title: The title should be concise, informative, and clearly written.
  • Introduction: Provide a brief background and state of the art as a basis for the new research question, new scientific statement, main research problems, and previous findings related to the manuscript. The final part of the introduction must state the research objective.
  • Methods: Describe the methods applied to solve the problem, including the analysis methods. This section details the methods used in addressing the research problem.
  • Results and Discussion: This section presents the research findings and their discussion. The research results should be supported by sufficient data. The findings must address or test the hypotheses mentioned earlier in the introduction.
  • Conclusion: This is the final section, summarizing the research findings. The conclusion should address the research hypothesis, objective, and findings. It must not merely restate the results and discussion but should offer a summary of findings that align with the research goals or hypothesis.
  • References: All cited works must be properly listed in the reference section. We encourage citing at least 15 references, with 80% from primary sources in leading databases (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science, etc.). Cited works should be recent and include references from diverse countries.

 

PETUNJUK BAGI PENULIS JURNAL KREATIF TADULAKO ONLINE

 

  1. Jurnal Kreatif Tadulako Online berisi artikel tentang hasil pemikiran dan hasil penelitian di bidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran.
  2. Artikel yang dikirim belum pernah dimuat di media masa lain (cetak atau online), diketik dengan Microsoft Word, huruf times new roman, ukuran 12 pts, dengan spasi 1,15 pada satu muka kertas A4 dengan margin bagian atas, bawah, dan samping kiri dan kanan 3 cm. Panjang artikel maksimum 20 halaman.
  3. Nama penulis artikel ditulis tanpa gelar akademik ditempatkan di bawah judul artikel disertai nama dan alamat institusi, dan alamat e-mail untuk memudahkan komunikasi.
  4. Sumber pustaka sedapat mungkin berupa sumber primer, seperti laporan penelitian (termasuk skripsi, tesis, disertasi), atau artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dalam jurnal atau berkala ilmiah. Pencantuman sumber rujukan pada kutipan langsung atau tidak langsung menggunakan aturan APA (American Psychological Association) style edisi ketujuh.
  5. Tata cara penyajian kutipan, rujukan, tabel, dan gambar mengikuti ketentuan dalam template JKO
  6. Semua naskah ditelaah secara double blind review oleh mitra bebestari (reviewers) yang ditunjuk oleh penyunting menurut bidang kepakarannya. Penulis artikel diberi kesempatan untuk melakukan perbaikan (revisi) naskah atas dasar rekomendasi/saran dari mitra bestari atau penyunting. Kepastian pemuatan atau penolakan naskah akan diberitahukan secara tertulis.
  7. Segala sesuatu yang menyangkut perijinan pengutipan atau penggunaan software komputer untuk pembuatan naskah ihwal lain yang terkait dengan HAKI yang dilakukan oleh penulis artikel, berikut konsekuensi hukum yang timbul karenanya, menjadi tanggung jawab penulis artikel tersebut.
