About the Journal

LEXIS: Journal of English Language Education, Linguistics, and Literature is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to sharing scientific research on the teaching and learning of English as a second or foreign language. We publish with open access in our journal. Every year,  we publish two issues in June and in December. Original research articles and comprehensive literature reviews are among the sorts of articles we accept.

Focus and Scope

The goal of the journal is to give readers access to relevant, high-quality, and easily readable references in the following areas:
English Education (ESL and EFL): Teaching methodologies, language assessment and evaluation, theories and debates in ESL and EFL contexts, and development of English language skills;
English Linguistics: Teaching linguistics in school, natural language analyses, theories and debates in English linguistics, and discourse analysis;
English Literature: teaching English literature in school, using literature in English teaching, and linguistic analyses of famous English literary works.
