Analysis of The Understanding of Grade 6 Students in The Operation of Counting Integer Summation Using Number Line in SDN 8 Dampelas

The purpose of this research is to provide students with an understanding of the operation of integer summation counting using number lines. There are some students who find it difficult and wrong with the question of summing integers. The methods used are interviews, observations, tests and then the data are analyzed qualitatively descriptively. In mathematics learning, students have not fully understood concepts in problem solving. Based on the results of interviews, observations and tests, students' understanding in integer summation operations using number lines is easier for students to understand than not using number lines
