Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The manuscript must be typed with 1.5 line spacing, using font size 10, and italics instead of underlining (except for URL addresses). All illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the text at the appropriate locations rather than grouped at the end of the manuscript.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General Provisions

  • Manuscripts must be written in proper and clear Indonesian or English, following academic writing conventions.
  • The manuscript should present original research, a literature review, or a conceptual study relevant to the journal’s focus and scope.
  • The manuscript must not have been previously published elsewhere and should not be under consideration or review by another journal.

Manuscript Format

  • Title: A maximum of 15 words (in Indonesian or English), written clearly and concisely.
  • Author’s Name and Affiliation: Full name(s) without academic titles, institutional affiliation(s), correspondence address, and the email address of the corresponding author.
  • Abstract and Keywords: Abstracts must be written in both Indonesian and English (120–150 words) and should include the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Keywords should consist of 3–5 words.
  • Article Structure: Introduction, Research Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
  • References: Must follow the IEEE citation style, with a minimum of 15 references. At least 70% of the cited works should be from scientific journals published within the last ten years.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use Reference Management Tools (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote).

 

Technical Requirements

  • Article length: 5–12 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Document format: MS Word, using Times New Roman font, 10 pt size, 1.5 line spacing, with margins set to 1.6 cm on the left and right sides and 2.6 cm at the bottom. Document format: Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font, size 10 pt, 1.5 line spacing, and 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  • Tables and figures should be clearly numbered and titled and placed near the related text in the manuscript.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) of Jurnal Banua Oge Tadulako.
