Application of the PBL Model through the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) Approach Using Paper Quizizz Media to Improve Learning Outcomes

Advances in information technology have an impact on education. The aim is to improve mathematics learning outcomes regarding exponential numbers through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach and using paper quizizz media. Classroom Action Research (PTK) carried out at SMA Negeri 5 Palu totaled 32 students in 2024-2025. The indicators are the results of student observations, the results of teacher observations, and an assessment of learning outcomes of at least 80% with minimum completeness criteria (KKM=75). 1) increase in student observation results in cycle I, namely 60% and cycle II increased to 87.5%; 2) the increase in teacher observation results in cycle I was 63% and cycle II increased by 93%; (3) the average increase in learning outcomes in cycle I obtained 11 students completing, namely 63.24%, and in cycle II it increased to 24 students, namely 83.87% of students who completed. All data obtained is of course in accordance with achievement indicators. So it is useful for teachers to develop innovative learning with the help of Quizzizz so that students are more active.
