Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Sport Coaching Education and Sport Science Tadulako (JSCESS) does not condone any form of plagiarism or duplicate submissions. Therefore, JSCESS strongly advises authors to thoroughly check the content of their manuscripts before submitting them to JSCESS for publication. JSCESS requests that authors use ‘plagiarism checking software’ to check for plagiarism prior to submission as an initial step, although such software is not entirely reliable. The editorial team will check all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism before publishing them online. If plagiarism is detected by an editor, peer reviewer, or editorial staff at any stage of the publication process, the manuscript may be rejected based on the percentage of plagiarism found, and the author will be notified. If the plagiarism is extensive – that is, if at least 15% of the original submission has been plagiarised – the manuscript may be rejected and the author’s employing institution will be notified.
