Plagiarism Policy

English Language Teaching Society (ELTS) does not encourage any form of plagiarism and duplicate submissions. Hence, ELTS strongly recommends the authors to a thorough check of the manuscript content before submitting it to the ELTS for publication. ELTS requests the authors to use "Plagiarism Checking software’s" to check plagiarism prior to submission as a preliminary step, although they are not completely reliable. The editorial office will check plagiarism for all the submitted manuscript before publishing online. If the plagiarism is observed by editors, peer reviewers, or by the editorial staff at any stage of the publication process, it could be rejected based on the percentile of plagiarism occurred and it would be notified to the author. If the plagiarism is extensive- that is, if at least 15% of the original submission is plagiarized - the manuscript may be rejected and the author's institution notified.
