The problems in increasing children's learning motivation given by parents to children due to lack of parental attention to children due to busy with work, the majority as farm laborers and facilities that are not optimal. So the question arises how the role of parents on children's learning motivation in SD Inpres 1 Tongoa. This study aims to determine the role of parents on children's learning motivation in SD Inpres 1 Tongoa. This type of research is a descriptive field, which takes place at SD Inres 1 Tongoa. The data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. The techniques used in data collection are observation methods, documentation methods, and interview methods. Based on research conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation that the roles played by parents in increasing children's learning motivation are parents as creators, parents as inspiration, parents as informers, parents as organizers, parents as motivators, parents as initiators, parents as facilitators, and parents as mentors. The forms of motivators that can be given by parents to children are attention, gifts, rewards, praise, and punishment. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded and understood that the role of parents in increasing children's learning motivation is quite good. This can be seen from interviews and observations that the role of parents has been well realized by parents of students at SD Inpres 1 Tongoa.
