Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition (CIRC) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di kelas VIII Pergamus SMP Gamaliel Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu perencanaan, pelakasanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita sistem persamaan linear dua variabel di Kelas VIII Pergamus SMP Gamaliel Palu melalui fase-fase yaitu: orientasi; organisasi; pengenalan konsep; publikasi; serta penguatan dan refleksi

Abstract: The aim of this research was to obtain the description of applying the cooperative learning model type Cooperative, Integrated, Reading and Composition (CIRC) to improve students learning outcomes in solving word problems system of linear equation of two variables in class VIII Pergamus SMP Gamaliel Palu. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), as the research design refers to the design of the research of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart models is planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research results showed that apply cooperative learning model type CIRC can improve students learning outcomes through that is: orientation; organization; introduction of the concept; publication; with reinforcement and reflection.
