PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE COURSE REVIEW HORAY (CRH) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI PERSAMAANLINEAR SATU VARIABEL DI KELAS VIIA SMP NEGERI 16 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada persamaan linear satu variabel di kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 16 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian tindakan kelas  (PTK) Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi persamaan linear satu variabel di kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 16 Palu melalui tahap-tahap sebagai berikut : (1) course, pada tahap ini guru menyampaikan teknik-teknik tertentu yang memuat cara-cara penyelesaian persamaan linear satu variabel, setelah itu siswa menyimak penyampaian guru dan memperoleh informasi untuk diterapkan pada tahap selanjutnya, (2) review, pada tahap ini guru harus memberikan LKPD, supaya terjadi diskusi antar siswa dengan siswa dalam kelompok dengan saling berbagi pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari tahap sebelumnya, (3) horay, pada tahap ini siswa menerima penghargaan yang diberikan sebagai penguatan berupa teriakan hore bagi kelompok yang memperoleh bintang emas.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to get a description of the application of cooperative learning model Course Review Horay (CRH) type in an attempt to improve student learning outcomes on linear equations in one variable in class VIIA 16 Junior High School Palu. This type of research is a classroom action research. This  research program is refers to the design of  classroom action research from Kemmis's and Mc Taggart's model that is (1) planning, (2) implementation of action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of this research indicate the application of cooperative learning model Course Review Horay type  can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics class VIIA 16 Junior High School Palu through the stages as follows: (1) course, at this stage the teacher  deliver certain techniques which provide a completion way of linear equations in one variable, after that the students listen to the teacher’s explanation and receive the information  to applied it in the next stage, (2) review, at this stage the teacher must provide LKPD, in order to trigger discussion among the students in groups by sharing knowledge which acquired from the previous stage, (3) horay, at this stage, the student receive the award  which is given as a strengthening in the form of shouts of the hurray  for the group who earned a gold star.
