PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER (NHT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENENTUKAN NILAI LIMIT FUNGSI ALJABAR KELAS XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 SINDUE

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi menentukan nilai limit fungsi aljabar di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Sindue. Penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Pada penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA3 SMAN I Sindue pada materi menentukan nilai limit fungsi aljabar mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada siklus I presentase ketuntasan klasikal adalah 40% sedangkan siklus II presentase ketuntasan klasikal adalah 90%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi menentukan nilai limit fungsi aljabar di kelas XI IPA3 SMAN 1 Sindue dengan mengikuti fase-fase sebagai berikut: (1) fase penyampaian tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran  dan memotivasi siswa terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran (2) fase penyajian informasi guru mendeskripsikan secara singkat tentang fase-fase model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, (3) fase pengorganisasian kelompok belajar dan penomoran, siswa dikelompokkan dalam 4 kelompok, setiap anggota kelompok diberi nomor, 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5, (4) fase pengajuan pertanyaan/permasalahan, guru membagikan materi pembelajaran dan LKS pada kelompok, (5) fase berfikir bersama, siswa diminta untuk mengerjakan LKS dan berdiskusi bersama untuk memperoleh jawaban yang tepat, (6) fase pemberian jawaban/evaluasi, siswa yang memperoleh nomor undian mengacungkan tangan dan maju mempresentasikan hasil kerja kelompoknya, (7) fase pemberian penghargaan, guru memberikan penghargaan kepada kelompok dengan pujian dan tepuk tangan.

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to obtain a description that applying Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) that can improve student’s learning outcomes on algebra limit function in class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Sindue. This research is classroom action research which refers to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. In the research that has been done, it is found that the learning result of the students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Sindue on the matter of number of rank has increased, in cycle I the percentage of classical completeness is 40% while cycle II the percentage of classical completeness is 90%. Based on these results it can be concluded that by applying cooperative learning model NHT can improve student learning outcomes determine the limit value of algebra function  form in class XI IPA 3 of SMAN 1 Sindue. By following the following phases: (1) conveying the learning objective and motivating, teachers verbally conveying learning objectives and motivate students to get excited and be actively involved in learning, (2) presenting information, teachers describe briefly about the phases of cooperative learning type, (3) organizing study group and numbering, students were grouped into 4 study groups and each member of the group was given a number is 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (4) questioning or probleming, teachers distribute teaching materials and LKS in each group, (5) heads together, students are asked to do LKS and discuss together to get the right answer, (6) answering, students whose number obtained from the lottery raised his hand and presented the group's work in front of the class, (7) Reward, teachers give awards to each group based on the value of the group obtained by giving praise and applause.
