PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIIIC SMP NEGERI 3 PALU PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN GARIS LURUS

Abstract

Abstak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu berjumlah 23 orang yang terdaftar tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu pada Materi Persamaan Garis Lurus mengikuti fase-fase, yaitu (1) penyajian kelas (2) Transisi ketim/belajar kelompok, (3) Tim studi dan monitoring, (4) evaluasi/tes dan (5) memberikan penghargaan.

Abstract: This study aims to obtain a description of the application of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to improve the learning outcomes of students of grade VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu on straight-line equations. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research refers to the design of Kemmis and Mc research. Taggart ie (1) planning, (2) implementation of action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The subjects of the study were students of class VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu which total 23 people enrolled in academic year 2016/2017. This study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve student learning outcomes in class VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palu in the Equation of Straight Line Equations following the phases, namely (1) class presentation (2) group study, (3) study and monitoring team, (4) evaluation / test and (5) award.
