PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN BULAT DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LANGSUNG DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 14 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan model pembelajaran langsung di kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan model pembelajaran langsung di kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan One-Shot Case Study Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dan terdiri dari 10 kelas yang berjumlah 270 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling. Kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII Kenanga sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 27 orang dan siswa kelas VII Matahari sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 27 orang. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 72,63 dengan standar deviasi 15,27 dan kelas kontrol 63,58 dengan standar deviasi 13,89. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh t_hitung = 2,30 dan t_tabel = 2,000 pada taraf signifikan 0,05, karena nilai t_hitung > t_tabel, maka H₁ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran langsung.

Abstract: The objective of this research is to know the difference of students achievement on addition and substraction of integer with using cooperative learning of NHT and direct learning in grade VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu. The hypothesis of this research is the difference of students achievement on addition and substraction of integer with using cooperative learning of NHT and direct learning in grade VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu. This research is experimental quantitative research with the research design using One-Shot Case Study Design. The research population is all students of grade VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu in the academic year 2016/2017 with 270 students. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. Classes which in the research samples are grade VII Kenanga as the experimental grade which consist of 27 students and grade VII Matahari as the control grade which consist of 27 students. From the achievement of data analysis, it obtained an average value of experimental grade is 72,63 with the deviation standard is 15,27 and the average value of control grade is 63,58 with the deviation standard is 13,89. Based on the hypothesis test calculations obtained t_count = 2,30 and t_table = 2,000 at the significant level of 0.05, because the value t_count  > t_table , then H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected. So that it can be concluded that there is significant diference of achievement among students who follow the cooperative learning of NHT with the students who follow the direct learning.
