PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERBANTUAN ALAT PERAGA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI LUAS PERMUKAAN DAN VOLUME KUBUS SERTA BALOK DI KELAS VIIIA SMPN 3 TINOMBO SELATAN

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume kubus serta balok di kelas VIIIA SMPN 3 Tinombo Selatan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan alat peraga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Desain penelitian yang dilakukan mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) pengamatan, dan (4) refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA SMPN 3 Tinombo Selatan.Dari subjek penelitian tersebut dipilih 3 orang informan dengan kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, tes, wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa  dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD, yakni:  (1) penyajian kelas, (2) mengorganisasikan siswa ke dalam kelompok belajar, (3) membimbing siswa belajar dan bekerja, (4) tes individual, dan (5) pemberian penghargaan.

Abstract: The purpose of this rescareswas to improve student learning outcomes at the material surface area and volume of cube and rectangular prism in the grade VIIIA SMPN 3 Tinombo Selatan through the implementation STAD type of cooperative learning model assisted tools. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The research design refers to the design of research conducted Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is comprised by of four components: (1) planning, (2) actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subject of this research is student of class VIIIA SMPN 3 Tinombo Selatan. The research subjects chosen from 3 informants with high ability, medium and low. The data of this rescares was qualitative and quantitative data. Fechnigues of data collection were observation, tests, interviews, and field notes. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the application of learning models of cooperative STAD assisted tools can improve student learning outcomes by following the phases of the learning model Cooperative STAD, namely: (1) Presentation Classes, (2) organize the students into groups learning, (3) guiding students to learn and work, (4) the test individual, and (5) giving the award.
