PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PjBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI ARITMATIKA SOSIAL DI KELAS VII E SMP NEGERI 2 SIGI

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial di SMPN 2 Sigi. Jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas VII E SMPN 2 Sigi pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, tes, wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 2 Sigi, dengan mengikuti fase-fase: 1) menentukan pertanyaan mendasar, 2) mendesain pelaksanaan proyek, 3) menyusun jadwal, 4) monitoring, 5) penguji hasil, dan 6) evaluasi.

Abstract: This research aimed at desaribing the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) to improve the student’s learning outcome in social arithmetic at SMP Negeri 2 Sigi. It was class action research (CAR) that refers to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research design, which was divided into: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. This research was conducted within two cycles. The subject of this research was 26 students of class VII E at SMPN 2 Sigi academic year 2016/2017. Techniques of data collection used in this research were observation, test, interview and note-taking. The result of this indicated that the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) could improve the students’ learning outcome of class VII E at SMPN 2 Sigi by following some phases: 1) started with the essential question, 2) designed a plan for the project, 3) created a Schedule, 4) monitoring, 5) assessed the outcome, and 6) evaluated the experience.
