PENERAPAN METODE PENEMUAN TERBIMBING PADA MATERI KELILING DAN LUAS DAERAH LAYANG-LAYANG

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keliling dan luas daerah layang-layang di kelas VIIASMP Negeri 17 palu. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 17 Palu yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa dan terpilih 3 siswa sebagai informan. Pada penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh bahwa dari hasil observasi guru dan siswa pada silkus I  pada kategori baik dengan persentase aktivitas guru 81,25% dan aktivitas siswa 74,43% sedangkan hasil obervasi guru dan siswa pada siklus II pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase aktivitas guru 95,32% dan aktivitas siswa 92,18% selain itu penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa tidak lagi mengalami kesulitan pada materi keliling dan luas daerah layang-layang di tandai dengan siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan menentukan keliling dan luas daerah layang-layang dengan baik berdasarkan indikator pembelajaran pada siklus I dan siklus II. sehingga hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 17 palu mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat di simpulkan bahwa penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keliling dan luas daerah layang-layang di kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 17 palu melalui langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) perumusan masalah, (2) pemrosesan data dan penyusunan konjektur, (3) pemeriksaan konjektur, (4) verbalisasi konjektur, dan (5) umpan balik.

Abstract:This study aims to describe the application of guided discovery learning methods can improve student learning outcomes in the material around and kite area in class VIIA 17 SMP Negeri hammer. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which refers to the research design of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Palu who were enrolled in the 2017/2018 school year. The number of subjects in this study were 28 students and 3 students were selected as informants. In the research that has been carried out, it was found that from the results of teacher and student observations on the first silkus in the good category with the percentage of teacher activity 81,25% and student activities 74.43% while the results of teacher and student observations in the second cycle in the excellent category with the percentage of teacher activity 95.32% and student activities 92,18% in addition, this study also shows that students no longer have difficulty in the circumference of material and kite area marked by students able to solve problems related to determining the circumference and area of ​​the kite well based on learning indicators in cycle I and cycle II . so that the learning outcomes of class VIIA students of SMP Negeri 17 hammer have increased. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the guided discovery method can improve student learning outcomes in the material around and kite area in class VIIA SMP Negeri 17 hammer through the following steps: 1) problem formulation, 2) data processing and arrangement of conjectures, 3) examination of conjectures, 4) verbalization of conjectures, and 5) feedback.             Keywords: guided discovery method, learning outcomes, around and the area of ​​the kite.
