PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) PADA MATERI PERBANDINGAN BERBALIK NILAI SMP LABSCHOOL UNTAD PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perbandingan berbalik nilai di kelas VIIA SMP Labschool UNTAD Palu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Tanggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pada siklus I banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 12 siswa (60%) dan pada siklus II banyaknya siswa yang tuntas yakni 17 siswa (85%). Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dengan total skor 44 dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan total skor 54. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori baik dengan total skor 41 dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan total skor 52. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 20 siswa dan dipilih tiga sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perbandingan berbalik nilai di kelas VIIA SMP Labschool UNTAD Palu, dengan delapan komponen yaitu : (1) tes penempatan, (2) kelompok, (3) kelompok mengajar, (4) kreativitas siswa, (5) belajar kelompok, (6) unit keseluruhan, (7) tes fakta, (8) skor dan penghargaan kelompok.

Abstract: This research aimed to describe about the Aplication of Cooperative Learning Model TAI can Improved the Learning  Outcomes on derivative of inverse proportion at VIIA grade SMP Labschool UNTAD Palu. This research was a classroom action research which referred to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research design that were planning, acting and observing as well as reflecting. This research was conducted in two cycles. In  the first sycle the number of student who pass are 12 student (60%) and the second cycle the number of students who pass are 17 student (85%) . The results of observations  of teacher activity in the first cycle are in the good category with a total score of 44 and increased in the second cycle is in the very good category with a total score of 54. The results observations of student activity in the first cycle are in the good category with a total score of 41 and increased in the second cycle is in the very good category with a total score 52. The subject were 20 students and three students were seleced as informants. The result of the research showed that Cooperative Learning  Model TAI  can improved learning outcomes of VIIA student  of SMP Labshool UNTAD Palu on inverse proportion, eight some components: 1) placement test, 2) team, 3) teaching group, 4) student creative, 5) team study, 6) whole class unit, 7) fact test, and 8) team score and team recognition.
