PADUNGKU TRADITION THE COMMUNITY OF BO'E VILLAGE, SUB-DISTRICT SOUTH PAMONA, POSO DISTRICT VIEW FROM PANCASILA VALUES PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the process of changing the Padungku tradition of the Bo'e village community (2) to describe the Pancasila values ​​contained in the Padungku tradition. This type of research is a qualitative research. The unit of analysis in this study is the people of Bo'e Village, with ten informants, one of whom is the head of Bo'e Village, three religious leaders, two traditional leaders, four of whom are community members who work as farmers and civil servant teacher. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, data and information were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the process of implementing the Padungku Tradition were: 1) The Village Government and the congregational assembly agreed on the date of the Padungku implementation in the village deliberative forum. 2) The community prepares the materials needed such as: bamboo (voyo), firewood (kaju apu), banana leaves (ira loka), glutinous rice (pae puyu), and livestock. 3) Thanksgiving service in the church building with harvests to be prayed for. 4) Padungku peak event which was attended from all walks of life without exception. Changes that occur in the padungku tradition are: 1) Changes in the name Mangore (elevating the sukma padi/maore ntanoana pae) to Padungku (thanksgiving because the agricultural process (rice) is over or complete). 2) In the past, the implementation was in gardens, rice fields and the village hall, now in Bo'e Village. 3) In the past, the community offered their harvest to a tree (banyan tree) or something that was considered mystical, but now the harvest is brought down in the church building to be prayed for. 4) In the past, the Padungku tradition was filled with traditional activities such as Mowinti (a game that pits strength with the feet), motela (a game made of coconut shells), moraego (a game specially played by the elderly at parties including at the time of padungku), mobulingoni (a story told through song lyrics), and moganci (a top game, made of wood) but now these activities are no longer carried out. And the values ​​of Pancasila contained in the Padungku tradition are: 1) Divinity. 2) Unity. 3) Democracy and, 4) Social.
