Author Guidelines

The general guidelines for article manuscripts are as follows:

Article manuscripts must be original research works that have not been published in other media or publications.
Manuscripts must be written in accordance with this article template. Articles are written on A4 paper (21x29.7 cm), with the following specific margins: A4 paper size, 3 cm margin (left), 2.5 cm (right, top, bottom) using Times New Roman font, 11pt font size, and single line spacing.
Manuscripts must be typed using Microsoft Word on A4 paper, approximately 6,000-7,000 words including images, tables, and references.
Manuscripts must not contain any elements of plagiarism. The editorial board will immediately reject any text that shows signs of plagiarism. We use plagiarism detection software to check your manuscripts.
Manuscripts written according to the guidelines of the Elementary School of Education Journal (ESEJ) (in MS Word format, using this article template) must be submitted through the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the Elementary School of Education Journal (ESEJ) portal (https://jurnalfkipuntad.com/index.php/jem) and select only one procedure. Next, register as one of the authors or reviewers in the “Register” section.
Article writing guidelines and templates can be downloaded. Templates and article writing guidelines are available in MS Word format (.doc).
Online manuscript submission procedures can be viewed in the online submission guidelines section below.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the Elementary School of Education Journal (ESEJ) writing guidelines will be returned to the author before the review process.
Manuscripts must contain the following elements of a scientific article (subheadings in order): (a) article title, (b) author's name (without academic title), (c) author affiliation address, (d) author email address, (e) abstract and keywords, (f) introduction, (g) research methodology, (h) research results and discussion, (i) conclusion, (j) references.
Subheadings within the discussion section (Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion) do not need to be numbered. Subheadings are written in bold and capitalized at the beginning of each word. Text alignment is left-aligned without underlining. Further expanded subheadings are written in bold and lowercase letters at the beginning of the word, using left-aligned text and level two numbering format.
Foreign or uncommon words are written in italics. Each paragraph begins 10 mm from the left margin, with no spacing between paragraphs. All numbers are written in Arabic numerals, except for new sentences.
Tables and images are placed in the text group after the table or image being referenced. Each image must be accompanied by a caption and source (Image Caption) below the image, and numbered in Arabic numerals followed by the image title. Each table must be accompanied by a table title (Table Title) and numbered in Arabic numerals above the table, followed by the table title and source below the table. Image attachments must be ensured to print properly in black and white ink (font size, resolution, and line spacing must be clear). Images, tables, and graphs must be centered between text groups. If they are larger in size, they may be centered on the page.
