PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PERSEORANGAN DAN KELOMPOK KECIL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA KELILING DAN LUAS PERSEGI DAN PERSEGI PANJANG DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 13 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran perseorangan dan kelompok kecil (PPKK)  untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita keliling dan luas persegi dan persegi panjang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart  terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PPKK dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Palu dalam menyelesaikan soal keliling dan luas persegi dan persegi panjang khususnya pada soal cerita, dengan fase pembelajaran yaitu: (1) pengantar, (2) informasi, demonstrasi, dan aktifitas perseorangan, (3) informasi dan aktifitas kelompok, (4) kuis, dan (5) penutup.

Abstrack:  The research aim to obtain a description of the applying of the learning models of individuals and small groups to improve student learning outcomes in completing the story about the circumference and area of ​​the square and rectangular in class VII SMPN 13 Palu. This research is a classroom action research refered to desain research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consisted of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of learning models PPKK can improve the learning outcomes of students of class VII SMPN 13 Palu in solving the circumference and area of ​​the square and rectangular particular on story problems, the learning phase, namely: (1) introduction, (2) information, demonstrations, and activities of individuals, (3) information and group activities, (4) quizzes, and (5) the cover.
