PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI REFLEKSI DI KELAS XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi refleksi di kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 Palu. Desain penelitian ini mengacu pada model penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari  empat komponen, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah  siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 Palu pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa dan dipilih 3 orang siswa dengan kemampuan yang rendah sebagai informan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari aktivitas guru dan siswa melalui lembar observasi, hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan serta hasil tes pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi refleksi (pencerminan) di kelas XI IPA I SMAN 5 Palu melalui langkah-langkah pembelajaran, yaitu: (1) penomoran (numbering), (2) mengajukan pertanyaan (questioning), (3) berpikir bersama (heads together), dan (4) menjawab pertanyaan (answering).

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe the application of cooperative learning of NHT in improving student's learning outcomes on Reflection in class XI IPA 1 SMAN 5 Palu. This study was designed refers to the model of classroom action research (PTK) developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consisting of four components, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Research subjects were students of XI IPA 1 grade SMAN 5 Palu in the academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 25 students and selected 3 students with low ability as an informant. The study consisted of two cycles. The data collected in this study was obtained from the activities of teachers and students through observation sheets, interviews, field notes and the results of tests on the first cycle and the second cycle. The result of this research indicating that the application of cooperative learning of NHT that can improve student’s learning outcomes on Reflection by following the phases, those are (1) numbering, (2) questioning, (3) thinking together, and (4) answered the question.
