PROBLEM SOLVING PROFILE OF MIXED ARITHMETIC OPERATIONS IN CLASS IV SDN 8 MAMBORO
Keywords:
mixed counting operations, mathematical ability levelAbstract
Research has been carried out on the Problem Profile of Mixed Counting Operations for Fourth Grade Students of SDN 8 Mamboro Based on the Level of Mathematical Ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Mixed Operation Problem Profile for Fourth Grade Students at SDN 8 Mamboro Based on Mathematical Ability Level. The hypothesis tested in this study was "Profile of Operational Calculation Problems for Class IV Students at SDN 8 Mamboro Based on Mathematical Ability Levels." To collect data, the supporting instrument used in this study was a written test. The written test used is a test that contains stories about mixed arithmetic operations. The type of data in this study is qualitative data about the problem solving profile of mixed arithmetic operations in class IV SDN 8 Mamboro. Based on the results of the study, those with high, moderate and low mathematical abilities in solving mixed arithmetic operations stories based on polya theory. Subjects with low ability cannot re-examine the work results because the subject is not sure of the answer and does not know the steps in re-examining the work. So that it can be found that solving the problem of subjects with low mathematical abilities in the first stage of work results, namely the subject does not re-examine the work of fourth grade students at SDN 8 Mamboro.
