THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEARNING MOTIVATION AND STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES OF SD INPRES 3 BOLAPAPU
Keywords:
learning motivation, learning outcomesAbstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes at SD Inpres 3 Bolapapu. The research method used is a correlational research method with a quantitative approach. The variable in this study is learning motivation as the independent variable, while the dependent variable is learning outcomes. Data collection technique; observation, questionnaire and documentation. Based on the results of the calculation of the descriptive analysis of the learning motivation of fourth grade students of SD 3 Bolapapu, there are 8 students or 80% have high learning motivation, 2 students or 20% have moderate learning motivation and no students have low learning motivation. This shows that student learning motivation is not related to student learning outcomes because students who have moderate motivation are proven to be able to get high learning outcomes, and conversely there are students who have high learning motivation but moderate learning outcomes. Based on inferential analysis, it was obtained that this rcount was consulted to the rtable with the number of research samples 10 and the level of confidence, then the rcount was 0.021 so that rcount < rtable or 0.021 < 1.81246 based on qualitative research data, if rcount < rtable then Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected. Thus it can be stated that Ha proposed in this study was rejected, and Ho was accepted or it could be said that there was no relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes at SD 3 Bolapapu
