PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI IPA MODEL SMA NEGERI 1 SIG PADA MATERI FUNGSI KOMPOSISI
Abstract
Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA Model SMA Negeri 1 Sigi pada materi fungsi komposisi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, catatan lapangan, hasil observasi kegiatan guru dan kegiatan siswa, serta hasil tes akhir tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tersebut terlihat pada hasil belajar siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA Model SMA Negeri 1 Sigi pada materi fungsi komposisi mengikuti langkah-langkah yaitu: (1) pemanasan, (2) pengamatan, (3) interpretasi hasil pengamatan,(4) peramalan, (5) pengkajian, (6) generalisasi penemuan, (7) penerapan dan (8) komunikasi.

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to describe the application of process skill approachment that could improve students learning outcomes on functions composition material in class XI IPA Model SMAN 1 Sigi. The type of this research was classroom action research. The design of this research referred to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s that was (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collected in this study was in the form of data obtained from interviews, field notes, observations of teachers and students' activities and the final tes result of the student’s. The Results showed that the learning outcomes of students had increased. Improving student learning outcomes were seen on a learning cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results showed the application of process skill approachment can increase the learning outcomes of student’s in grade XI IPA Model SMA Negeri 1 Sigi on composition of functions by following the steps, as follow: (1) warp up, (2) observation, (3) interpretation of the results of observation, (4) forecasting (5) assessment, (6) generalization discovery, (7) application and (8) communication.
