PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBER HEADS TOGETHER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI GARIS DAN SUDUT DI KELAS VII SMP KRISTEN BALA KESELAMATAN PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe NHT dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi garis dan sudut di kelas VII SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi garis dan sudut, dengan mengikuti fase-fase model pembelajaran NHT, yakni: 1) penyampaian tujuan dan pemotivasian siswa, yaitu peneliti menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan manfaat pembelajaran untuk memotivasi siswa, 2) penyajian informasi, yaitu peneliti mendeskripsikan secara singkat tentang fase-fase model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, 3) pengorganisasian kelompok belajar dan penomoran, yaitu peneliti mengatur siswa untuk bergabung ke dalam kelompok dengan nomor anggota 1 s.d. 6, 4) fase pengajuan pertanyaan atau permasalahan, yaitu peneliti memberikan soal-soal kepada siswa dalam bentuk LKS, 5) berpikir bersama, yaitu siswa diminta untuk berpikir bersama dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pada LKS dan peneliti memberikan bimbingan seperlunya, 6) pemberian jawaban, yaitu peneliti mengundi nomor soal yang akan dikerjakan oleh masing-masing kelompok kemudian mengundi nomor anggota siswa untuk menentukan siswa yang akan mewakili kelompok untuk mempresentasekan hasil LKS kelompoknya di depan kelas, 7) pemberian penghargaan, yaitu peneliti memberikan penghargaan kepada setiap kelompok.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the Application of cooperative learning model NHT to improve student learning outcomes in the material lines and angles in class VII SMP Christian Salvation Army Palu. The research design refered to Kemmis’ and Mc.Taggart’s design, that consist of plan, action, observation, and reflection.The result of the research showed that using the cooperative learning model NHT improved. It was followed by NHT steps such as: 1) conveying the learning objective and motivating, researcher convey the learning purpose and benefit to motivate the students, 2) presenting information, researchers describe briefly about the phases of cooperative learning type, 3) numbering, researchers set of students to join the group with the numbers 1 to 6 members, 4) questioning, researcher gave task in worksheet to the students, 5) heads together, the students were asked to think together in doing their worksheet and researcher guided them to do that, 6) answering, researchers about the raffle numbers will be done by each group member students then draw numbers to determine the students who will represent the group in their worksheet in front of the class, 7) giving appreciation, researcher gave appreciation to each group.Keywords: cooperatif learning of  NHT, learning result, Line, angle.
