PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PERSEORANGAN DAN KELOMPOK KECIL (PPKK) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model PPKK untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 20 Palu pada materi hubungan antar sudut. Pada model PPKK ada aktivitas perseorangan dan aktivitas kelompok yang dilaksanakan dalam satu pertemuan. Model PPKK dilaksanakan dalam 5 fase. Penelitian ini dilakukandalam dua siklus, setiap siklusnya melalui empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru siklus I yaitu memperoleh kriteria taraf keberhasilan baik, dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu memperoleh kriteria taraf keberhasilan sangat baik. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa siklus I yaitu memperoleh kriteria taraf keberhasilan baik, dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu memperoleh kriteria taraf keberhasilan sangat baik. Persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal siklus I yaitu 61,90% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 85,71%. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan penerapan model PPKK dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 20 Palu pada materi hubungan antar sudut.

Abstract: This purpose of this study was to describe the application of the PPKK model to improve student achievement in class VIIB SMP Negeri 20 Palu on the relationship between angles, In the PPKK model there are individual activities and group activities carried out in one meeting. The PPKK model is carried out in 5 phases. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle through four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of observations of the activities of teacher in cycle I are obtaining good success criteria, and have increased in cycle II, namely obtaining very good success criteria. The results of observations of the activities of students in cycle I are obtaining good success criteria, and have increased in cycle II, namely obtaining very good success criteria. The percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle I is 61,90% and has increased in cycle II by 85,71%. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of the PPKK model can improve students’ learning achievement in the VIIB class of SMP Negeri 20 Palu on the relationship between angles.
