PENGARUH MODEL KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPAS SISWA KELAS V SD INPRES 6 LOLU

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences in grade V of SD Inpres 6 Lolu. The background of this study is based on low student learning outcomes and the need to apply a contextual and interesting learning model. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 52 students, comprising 30 students in the experimental class and 22 students in the control class. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and multiple-choice tests. Data analysis was performed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-gain tests using SPSS version 30 software. The results showed that the use of the CTL model assisted by video media had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. These findings indicate that the application of video-based contextual learning can improve students' understanding, engagement, and learning outcomes in effective and sustainable science learning.
